Move description
As basic Armjive, repeated here for clarity.
  • Step back,
  • Pull left hand and push right hand, step back on left leg, shoulders moving a little anti-clockwise, lady doing the opposite,
  • Pull right hand and push left hand, step back on right leg, shoulders moving a little clockwise, lady doing the opposite,
  • Pushpull back again, this time raising and pull left to left shoulder, only taking left hand flat up high.
  • You are now palm to palm with the left hand - this signls that the lady is going to freespin. You can also take your right hand to her left hip to aid the push.
  • Push the left hand down and push with right hand to the left to help the lady do a 360o clockwise free spin.
  • Catch with right hand.
  • Return lady 360o anti-clockwise to face.

The lady can spin twice if she is feeling flashy enough and the mans lead is strong enough. She gets most of her momentum from the man pushing her round. The man helps with the balance by pushing with his right hand on her left hip to start the spin. A nice jive variation of the beginners armjive. Ceroc still mark this as a beginners move.
